Offered in three versions associated with 8" (203mm) Sieve testing work. All units come with soft bristle cleaning brush and stainless steel sample scoop. 75-9997-35 stand-alone version may be used in any sieving operation. 75-9997-37 is specifically designed to fit the case of Model 90-4333-00 Sieve Shaker. 75-9997-39 has adjustable-height frame to fit any model of top loading electronic balance with width of 8.5" (216mm) or less to permit direct weighing and accumulation of sieved segments on the balance.

SEPARATOR, AUTOMAGNET

Simple spring plunger's hold-and-release action permits extraction of magnetic material and discharge to another container. Compact unit has sealed powerful Alnico V-six Pole Permanent magnet in lightweight aluminum case. Size: 2-1/2" X 6-1/2"H (64x165mm).
 

SIEVE RACK, WALL-MOUNT, FOR 12" SIEVES

For 12" (305mm) diameter sieves, similar to 75-9997-10. Has slots every 1/2" (13mm) for variable placement of the eight supplied dividers. Additional Dividers are available in sets of 5 as 75-9997-16. Overall assembled size: 36.25x13x15.75" (921x330x400mm), WxDxH.
 

SIEVE RACK, WALL-MOUNT, FOR 8" SIEVES

Designed for 8" (203mm) diameter sieves. Sieves are held on edge in 11 individual 3" (76mm) wide compartments, each holding one full height or two half height sieves. Compartment bottoms are neoprene lined and inclined to keep sieves in place. Construction is all stainless steel. Holes are provided for mounting. Overall assembled size: 34.25x9x11" (870x229x279mm), WxDxH.
 

SIEVING AID, CONDITIONING AGENT

Many types of fine mesh samples are difficult to sieve accurately because of increasing static attraction ("balling" or aggregating) during the sieving process. Variation in laboratory air humidity can cause inconsistencies in sieving results. Q/C Resource 75-9909-00 Sieving Aid consists of four 500ml bottles of very fine (5 to 7µm) high purity silicon dioxide conditioning agent. When mixed with fine mesh sieving samples (2 wt% is typical), Sieving Aid adheres to surfaces of larger particles to act as a physical barrier reducing interparticle cohesion and keeping sample material in a free-flowing state. Surface characteristics of the test material, such as static charge, are thereby modified to prevent agglomeration of particles during the sieving agitation process. Since silicon dioxide is a dehydrating agent, it also serves to protect sample types which absorb moisture and cake. Addition of Sieving Aid to non-problem samples does not affect sieving results.
 

STORAGE RACK, SIEVE

Holds all diameters of sieves to 12" (305mm) maximum. Stainless steel rack has non-skid rubber feet, and is supplied with two permanent and two adjustable rubber-coated sieve support rods.
