The CoreSnap allows you to remove a drilled sample from a roadbed at or below the tackline without prying or drilling completely through the old roadbed.
 

DIAMOND CORE DRILL BITS AND EXPANDER SETS

Diamond coring bits are available in either "Open-Head" style, which requires use Expander Sets to attach core barrels to the drill head, or "Closed-Head" style. Choose from three lines of re-settable bits. The "Superior" line is for use with heavily reinforced or pre-stressed concrete or super-hard and ceramic materials. The "Asphalt Specialist" series is designed for paving contractors and state and local DOTs. Small-volume users drilling asphalt as well as concrete (with up to medium reinforcement) should use the "Utility" bit line for best economy. Utility bits are also suited to brick and tile. Standard length is 14" (356mm) for cutting cores or holes up to 12" deep. Order Extension Rods for holes deeper than 12".

PAVEMENT CORING SLIDER RIG

A completely self-contained coring rig that slides right into any pickup truck, full-sized or compact. No more hassles trying to back a trailer-mounted core rig around the jobsite trying to line up over the spot the DOT wants cored. The frame slides in and out 4 feet and 3 feet from side to side, providing a large target area. Rig is complete, with Slider Frame, CoreBore Components, Milwaukee 2-Speed Drill Motor, 65-Gallon Water Tank with Pump and a Yamaha Generator. Specialty Slider Core Rigs are available inquire.
 

PORTABLE CORE DRILLING MACHINE, CORE-MOBILE

Coring capacities up to 8" (203mm) are standard. Inquire for machines with up to 16" (406mm) capacity or for pneumatically or hydraulically powered units. Diamond coring bits must be ordered separately. Includes a gasoline-powered, electric start core drilling machine and heavy-gauge 200-gal. (757 L) fiberglass water tank with battery-driven pump, all mounted on a sturdy 2-wheel trailer. The system is complete and ready for field work taking cores up to 16" (406mm) in The 15-HP, 4-cycle core drill has 24" (610mm) of carriage travel. 84" (2.1m) wide by 130" (3.3m) long trailer has inertia-activated hydraulic brakes, tail lights, turn signals, brake lights, and 195R15 tires.
